High Level Discourse

These noisy grackles are perched on a chimney pot in St. Augustine, Florida. I was working on the painting during the 2016 Presidential Election and thus the title ‘High Level Discourse’. The stormy sky was added in keeping with the tone of the pre-election discourse. The resurrection fern signifies hope of calmer days.
