Description of What Happened

I was touring the grounds at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida when I glimpsed an area of broken statues at the edge of the grounds.  It was like a statue graveyard.  I was intrigued and knew that there was a painting in those old broken pieces.  The highlighted figure in the painting spoke to me and the cardinal pair seemed like the perfect narrators for the painting.  When I went back later for more photos, the area was closed off and not open to the public.  I felt fortunate for my earlier discovery.

This painting was juried into the  CPSA2020 International Exhibition.
